Justin's Education:
Justin has always been outstanding in his academic performance. He has always been top of his class, best at a test, and come in first position. When he first attended Northmead Basic School, he attained the highest score on the very first test he took. Justin also had the highest test scores of any Kucetekela Foundation scholarship applicant. Justin has switched schools several times, and the tutoring helped ensure that these changes hadn’t caused him to miss anything. Justin woke up at 5:00 am every morning to study before going to school. Justin’s favorite subject is Mathematics.

At Chalo Trust School (Grade 8):
His teachers have often commented on how intelligent he is. Usually Justin finishes among the top five students in his overall academic standing, and can sometimes score 100% on tests when he puts in the right amount of effort. So far, Justin has been awarded a certificate and award for being one of the best students in term one. He came second in the overall class standing. His favorite subjects are History and Science. Justin has no problem fitting into this new school environment even though his peers come from more privileged backgrounds.

At this year’s awards ceremony, Justin received an award for achieving 95% in History.(Chalo Trust gives awards to students who have achieved more than 95% in a subject.)

Justin is an artist and loves to paint. He also plays on the school’s basketball team. To improve his mathematics, Justin has also joined the math club.

Justin's Thoughts:
“I am thankful for the good things KF has done for me. I have come to this good school all because of KF. I have fun when we go for trips. I like the programs we have at Chalo Trust such as the clubs and sports we are offered. I like Mondays a lot because we go for internet surfing in the Information, Communication and Technology lab. I have learned more in both my academic and everyday life. Thank you KF.”
